Her jewelry is sparse, but she always makes sure to have her Pokétch wherever she goes, to keep up with time and events. She’s never seen without her golden Espeon necklace, given to her by her birth mother before she was adopted. She also wears a Shoal friendship bracelet that she made to match Tate’s and Liza’s, and she constantly wears a purity ring on her right hand, to remind her of her father’s last request.
Personality: Quirky and quite sarcastic, this feisty trainer has a bit of a hothead. She forms friendships pretty quickly, and sticks up for her friends no matter what. Ky’s always the first to voice her opinion and isn’t afraid of what other people may think about her. Kyrie’s always ready to help others in need, no matter how rude or unfair they may be toward her. She’s incredibly book smart, being at the top of her class in Trainer’s School, but common sense isn’t something that comes very naturally to her. Her undying determination and spunky attitude make her who she is: a loyal friend, a charismatic trainer, and a loving person.
History:Born and raised in Mossdeep City, Ky grew up with the psychic twins Tate and Liza, learning everything she could from their Gym battles, and even going so far as to challenge them herself. Ever since her first electrifying battle with the twins, she’s wanted to be a Pokémon trainer. She’s always loved psychic-type Pokémon, her favorite being Espeon, as one could figure after seeing her ears and tail. She is psychic as well, though she can only communicate with her Pokémon through a form of telepathy. She was adopted by Rhiannon and Erick Sullen, and never knew her real mother Kensie.
Erick went missing in a boating accident when she was only three. Since then Rhiannon has had a fear of riding on one, and so has never allowed Ky near them. Rhiannon gave Ky her first Pokémon when she was ten, an Eevee that she knew would one day evolve into that Espeon her daughter had always wanted. She nicknamed her Sunbeam, and trained quite a bit around Shoal Cave, battling her fair share of Spheal and Sealeo on a daily basis, as well as the many Pokémon trainers there. By the time she was twelve, her mother finally decided she was strong enough to travel outside of her home, giving her the freedom to go throughout Hoenn.
Because of Rhiannon's overwhelming fear of ships though, she could only leave on Lapras, her mother's most beloved Pokemon from Kanto. Accepting the offer, she rode Lapras until she arrived in Lilycove, where she decided to try being a Coordinator first. She was told she'd have to start in Verdanturf, but that didn't worry her. By the time she was thirteen she had competed in Hoenn's Grand Festival. Afterward, she decided to become a Trainer, though she never battled any Gyms that year, rather deciding to hone her skills through battling other trainers and helping to chase off Team Aqua and Team Magma with her new friend Brendan from Littleroot.
By this time, Sunbeam had finally evolved into the beautiful Sun Pokemon she had always dreamed of having. She began challenging Hoenn's Gym's at the age of fourteen, training not only her Espeon and her mother's Lapras, but the girl Ralts she had caught near Petalburg. And finally, at the age of fifteen, she arrived here, in the Midori region, looking for a fresh start with Sunbeam, Sweetice the Lapras, and Goldstar her Ralts.
