Gathering of trainers from near and far

It was the crack of dawn and everyone was busy with in the walls of the laboratory racing around. Today was the Big meet up of trainers from far and wide. A woman in her mid thirties was deep within the stock room gathering Items. This was Professor Rosethorn. She has a white Three quarter shirt with green Skirt and Green shoes. She has long brown hair and emerald green eyes.

Rosethorn gathered together seven backpacks and filled them with an Assortment of items that a starting trainer needed for their adventure. Potions, Pokeballs, Full heal, Town map, pokedex, TM case, berry bag, Cell Phone, and an assortment of random berries. She pulled open a few more draws and took out some not so common items for one’s adventure.

The woman Pulled away from her desk, ”Jade has Flora returned with the shipment of Pokémon I asked for?” She yelled the verdant pokemon, who was in the hallway.

The leafeon shook her head, <No She hasn’t returned from…> she was cut off as the Rouge Roserade slipped though the door. Jade sighed, <Oh There she is. > and she bounded past the other grass Pokémon.

Flora gave Jade an evil glare and placed a giant suitcase beside the professor. She thanked her and soon a Tropius skidded in with a Bag in his Mouth. Rosethorn gave him a scratch on the head, ”thanks Banana. Now we have everything we need.” and she plopped down in a nearby chair. Her Guests were about to arrive, so she and her pokemon began to sort out the pokeballs, Coins and Items into the Proper backpacks.

Mara

Mara was the first to arrive. Her older 'brother' was with her, guiding the shy girl to the lab doors. "Thanks Joseph" Mara leaned up to kiss her brother lightly on the cheek. He smiled and planted one on top of her head. Sighing happily, the newly-turned 16 year old, entered the lab...

The first thing she encountered was the smell of roses. They seemed to be everywhere. Then again, that was probably due to the fact that the Proffessors name was Rosethorn. "Professor Rosethorn?" Mara called. She already knew the kind lady, having lived in Kaisha Town for 4 years. "Are you there?" Mara put down her blue pack she carried with her, knowing she would get a new one, and crept forward. The lab was quite large from the inside and Mara, having never seen the Professor in her lab, was quite overwhelmed by the sights and the smells. A large metal plate fell with a clatter when Mara accidently bonked into it, causing Mara to covere her large ears and cry out in painl; one of the side effects of the expiriment. Tears dropped lightly from her eyes, but she wiped them away with a small hand. At 16, she shouldn't cry anymore.

She found some seats near the left side of the lab and sat down, not really sure what to do. Mara's hand found a small keychain on one of her short's hooks. She started to fiddle with it while she waited for the others.


Shen

Shen looked cautiously about her surroundings. She hadn't been to Kaisha town in a very long time. In fact, the last time she had been down here, was to see if Mara was there. Of course, she had been scared away by one of the pokemon the professor kept and so she left without even attempting to find Mara.

<Shen Kuu Joy, get to that lab right now.> A voice whispered and a gentle nudge pushed her slightly floating body towards the lab. Shen spun around and hissed, but nobody was there. She narrowed her eyes. "King, you weren't supposed to be here." Shen hissed angrily and a glalie suddenly appeared from thin air. <How are you to stop me. I raised you.>

"For a year, I raised myself before that. Why are you so attached to me!" Shen growled and turned around, stalking into the lab. She floated slightly above the ground so as to not be heard by anybody. Shen saw someone sitting down in one of the seats near the left wall. Those ears... that tail... Mara? Shen, too afraid to confront her twin, hid behind some shelving and waited. She would get pokemon last, as she didn't want to be seen by anybody except the professor...

Sam

Sam had just got back from a mission. She and Sven had been fighting a Pokémon Poacher who stole a lot of Staraptor, which are crucial for Pokémon Rangers to go here and there. After one last tearful moment with Sven, Prof. Hastings, and all her other friends at the Ranger Union, she flew all the way from Doku Point City to Kaishi Town, where her father would be waiting. Although she had just became a Top Ranger and received her Top Styler, she's been wanting to start a journey all of her life. She's still dirty and muddy in her Ranger Uniform, but she doesn't care. She likes getting dirty.

As Sam enters the lab, she's in awe. In the corner, she could see the backpacks that Prof. Rosethorn have provided. Man… I can't wait to start my journey. As she walks through the lab, 13-year-old Sam can't help but admire Prof. Rosethorn's computers and research. After she studied everything in the lab, she feels something cold around her right wrist. The good luck charm that Sven gave her on her Farewell Party. Promise me you'll visit the next time you go to Doku Point, he said. I promise, she replied. And that was that. The only reason she's sticking to the promise is because she knows that she'll be heading back there to challenge Weston, the Gym Leader there.

When Sam is done thinking about Sven, she takes a seat next to the girl that has already arrived.

Sakura

Sakura came to a stop at a small town believed to be called Kaishi Town. Instantly, she knew she liked it. It was a small town and she had spotted many Pokemon along the way. It was a good place to be here except the fact that they had a Dock. Sakura sighed and shook her head and biked slowly to a white building of the Pokemon Lab. She parked the bike right next to a window and got off, looking aorund for anyone.

Sakura felt sure that someone was there, probably hiding and she quickly darted in through the door. The Lab was huge and she explored the building, enjoying the smell. For a moment, she felt a pang of sadness for the smell reminded her of home. But she pushed it away and turned to see two people sitting. Perhaps they are trainers too...no the other one is a ranger...and a very dirty one at that.

She flipped her black hair over her shoulder and looked away. Thanks goodness she thought of changing into her shirt and skirt.

Kyrie

Kyrie checked her watch for the umpteenth time as she made her way to Kaishi Town. Her heart was banging against her ribs like a bird trying to peck its way out of a cage. She couldn't believe she'd finally made it, that she was finally starting her journey here in Midori. Such a beautiful place, and so many new Pokemon to catch that weren't native back home in Hoenn. Tate walked beside her, her lone escort from her hometown of Mossdeep.

Liza had stayed behind to take care of the Gym. "You'll do fine," Tate reassured her, "it's not like this is your first journey, after all." She nodded, not trusting herself to speak. She was excited and slightly worried, all at the same time. When they'd finally made it to the lab, Kyrie knew it was time for Tate to leave.

She hugged him, saying, "Thanks, Tate."

"Promise you'll call, okay? I want to hear all about this journey, and I'm sure Liza and Rhiannon would love to hear from you."

"Yeah, I will. 'Bye Tate. Tell everyone I love them." She broke the tight embrace, blushing slightly as she ambled through the lab's double doors. Kyrie immediately noticed the backpacks set aside, and the three other trainers undoubtedly waiting for Professor Rosethorn to arrive.

Well, two of them looked like trainers. The other girl looked like she was a Ranger. Kyrie smiled warily at the girls, and took a seat by the Ranger, eagerly awaiting the dawn of a new beginning.

Grant


Grant flew into Kaishi Town on his Charizard. "This will do for now, I guess." Grant thought to himself. He looked around town, unaware what to do next. All Grant knew, is that he wanted strong Pokemon, so he could defeat his brother Red in a battle. It is his only wish in life.

Grant looked at every Pokemon he passed, wondering if he should take them to help him defeat his brother. He passed a Dunsparce. "No." Then he passed an Umbreon. "Better." Then, he saw a professor with a Dragonite. "Bingo..." Grant said under his breath.

He followed the professor to the lab, where he saw dozens of eager trainers. Grant smirked to himself as he thought of all the Pokemon that these poor trainers had, that he could take right from them. Then, he noticed something that caught his eye. A young boy with a Magikarp. Grant thought of the power that Magikarp could hold if it would evolve. So Grant made his move....

The boy who had the Magikarp was a new trainer. 10 years old at the most. This would be easy.... Grant snatched the Pokeball, and the Magikarp, and fled the scene. The little boy didn't even know what had happened...

"Red, starting today, I will get my revenge!"

Glenn

I can finally start my journey today, thinks Glenn. He's been waiting for this day since he met N at Nimbasa City many years ago. Glenn can't stand the thought of traveling by foot and sleeping in the wild, but as long as he can be with Pokemon, he'll always be happy. He would've came with his dad, but he's in the process of making a new game.

He enters the lab to find four girls and one boy. They all look like trainers except one. The other is a ranger. And she's dirty. Ugh, a nature lover. He takes a seat far away from everyone else and starts fidgeting with his Xtrainsceiver.

Diamond

"Baby girl, are you sure you got everything you need? Sleeping bag, flashlights, toothbrush, extra pairs of underwea-" "DAD?!" Diamond yelled into the phone, she looked around to make sure no one was listening. "I'm pretty sure Professor Rosethorn packed everything in our bags that we will need... well besides the extra pairs of.." she covered her mouth as she said the last word "underwear." On the other side of the phone was her way to protective dad, Juan, the leader of Sootpolis. It took a lot of effort for her to convince her dad to let her go on this journey through the Midori region alone, almost as much effort as it took her to explain to her dad why she didn't want to become a Water type trainer and let's just say that it took a lot of effort. And it's like she never gone on a journey before; she's been to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. Granted she was never alone; she always had her best friend with her; however, when her best friend got a call from the head chairman of the Pokémon Rangers to become a ranger Diamond told her to go for it. That was always her friend's dream, to be a Top Ranger. It's been 5 years since they last saw each other and the last thing she said to Diamond was 'Follow your dreams.'

That's how Diamond ended up here by herself in front of this big white building that was the Pokémon Lab. "Diamond! Diamond! DIAMONDDDD!!!!" her impatient father screamed into the phone bringing Diamond back into reality. "Dad, I'm not deaf. I can hear you just fine." Though I think I lost hearing in my left ear thanks to your screaming. "Anyways" she continued out loud "I have to go, they're probably waiting for me. Call you back later." Click. Diamond knew if she didn't end the converstaion now, her father would go on and on about how it's dangerous to travel alone blah, blah blah. I mean even when they found out about her plan on traveling to the Midori region alone, they set up a 'celebration party' where the rest of her family kept complaining about Diamond leaving. The only one who understood Diamond's feelings was her mother; the town's own Nurse Joy.

Thinking back on how Chansey ruined the party, after Diamond asked her too, brought a smile to her face. "If I wasn't running late then maybe Chansey could have salvaged some of the decorations instead bombing the place with Egg Bombs." Diamond told Chansey that she needed to cause a commotion so Diamond could escape; the party was taking forever to end and she was already an hour late. She had to say, Chansey did make the party way more fun and with a short goodbye to her mother, left the party laughing.

Holding onto that memory of her family trying and miserably failing to catch Chansey, she inhaled and opened the doors to the lab were she was greeted with seven unpleasent looks. "Heh. Uh.. hello" she muttered as she swiftly walked, almost running, to the chair on the far side of the room and sat down with a sigh.
