The Basics HP Level 1-2 = 10 HP Level 3-10 = 20 HP Level 11+ = 2x Level Dodge System Pokemon have a limited number of dodges, depending on what kind of battle they are in.
Wild Pokemon Battle Both Pokemon have only Two dodge.
Trainer Battle Both Pokemon have TWO dodges.
Gym Battle Both Pokemon have THREE dodges. Every Gym has it's own rules for battling. Some just follow this system, but those that do not will explain their system. Leveling up your Pokemon at least a few levels above those of the Gym Leaders' would make challenging them much easier and faster, so it is wise to train before doing so. The same goes for contests. Experience System Your pokemon will gain the difference of levels if your opponent is a higher level than you. If you defeat an Opponent with a lower level, You will gain .5 of a level. Examples: A level 5 charmander defeats a level 7 Budew. Charmander would gain 2 levels. A level 6 pichu defeated a leve 4 meowth. Pichu would gain .5 of a level. Battling anything other than a Wild pokemon Will receive the following BonusAgainst a TRAINER, Pokemon gain 1.5x the level Difference of their opponent(s). Against a GYM LEADER, Pokemon gain 2x the level Difference of their opponent(s). Against the ELITE FOUR, Pokemon gain 2.5x the level difference of their opponent(s). Against a LEGENDARY, Pokemon gain 3x the level difference of their opponent. In a DOUBLE, TRIPLE, etc. battle, Pokemon gain the normal amount of Levels from all of their opponents. Besides battles, there are other ways to level up your pokemon. Your Pokemon can advance a level, if your character helps another out. It can be a person or even a wild Pokemon. The more creative your training method, the more levels will be earned. Rare candies will immediately level the Pokemon it was used on up by one.

Damage Calculations I hate calculating my own damage and I know I'm not alone thus here we shall use an online damage calculator that I love using. 1) First of all Click Here2) Change Levels, Pokemon, and Attack like Shown bellow 3) Ignore the Optional data 4) Attack and Defense area just put 1 5) Press Summit and Damage will be calculated like bellow Exception -Dragon Rage does the same amount of damage as Dragonbreath instead of the 40 damage per attack Unless the attacker is level 30 or higher. -SonicBoom Does the same amount of damage as Tackle instead of the 20 damage per attack unless the attacker is level 20 or higher. This attack also has a 30% chance of Paralyzing your opponent. -Any pokemon Under level 10 who is facing another pokemon Who's level is 11 or higher damage will be Cut in half. ((More added as I find them))
